Resistance can be tricky. Taking the form of external obstacles, internal struggles or just plain exhaustion. Resistance tells us "not to go there" and "not to do that". If we believe resistance we may be deterred -- feeling as if we cannot overcome -- but we can. Here are a few tips:
- Accept resistance.
- Take your emotions out of a situation and be objective.
- Have a manageable plan and set realistic goals.
- Be patient and troubleshoot along the way.
- Be kind to yourself and others.
- Take a break when you need to.
It is important to remember that calmly and steadily moving in the direction of your goals is the best way to achieve them. Resistance will never see you coming!
